Class Love for The Community
This must be Necromancer month otherwise I would be talking about something else. I've been doing a lot of reading on various boards and the TL reports about the love and hate of this class. I don't know why either that there is such a mixed feeling about this particular class, but I'm sure the same can be said for many other classes as well. The 'tweaking', the 'probing', the 'nerfing' and the updates all seem to cater to one thing; balance. But how is this fairing up to the standards of the community? Only you the readers are able to answer that.
But this issue doesn't stick to just one class alone it also glues itself to other classes as well. Such as the Thane, the Cleric, the Friar, the Mercenary, the Necromancer, the Berserker, the Shadowblade, and the Enchanter. I pointed these certain classes out because these are the classes that I hear about the most. They are the ones that either gets picked on, pitied, or even worse. What makes it so bad is that people fail to realize the potential for these certain classes when they don't even play them. However, what I would like to know are the standards that Mythic chooses to 'hone' these classes the way they do. And are these changes; player driven or Staff driven. I would like to think that most of the Community has a large say in what happens to most classes, but we have to be smart and choose our battles and words when we look for something changed. I understand that the TL's are doing their best to match that of what the Community wants, but you also have to understand that there is a fine line of what you want as a whole VS what is needed to maintain a balance. But what is the balance?
I would like to know what you the readers really want to see done. I want to read and hear what you think should happen more than most about these certain classes. Tell me what you think Mythic should do in order to keep the Community happy in order to keep the game from going innate.
