Everyone is Special...

Deina

I haven't had much time to write about anything much less think of anything to write about. College is taking its course and so is real life so I'll do my best to keep up to date with what goes on in the world of DAoC.

Here in a very short time, Mythic Entertainment will be releasing their second installment to this fantasy medieval realm that we play in. Trials of Atlantis is slated to be put on shelves by the end of the month or the beginning of next month, depending on your locations and availability I suppose. With the latest patch that has already been released, I have liked what I have seen so far. Minor changes have been made across the board to all melee weapons styles and certain classes still getting their tone. No, there is a difference between a nerf and tone folks so don't get upset. Necromancers are on their way to being a little better well rounded as far as making stats worth something, but there is still a lot of work to be done for the Theurgist. Heck, many classes still need their tweak and utilization found out before the new expansion is released. But I guess what I'm getting at here is the one thing many ask Mythic; the redefining for a lot of classes that have little or no purpose!

Each class in each realm should have some tool or utility that no others have in order to make them wanted in a group. However, with the trade off of giving other classes similar spells to make up for the lack there of in what they initially had, the primo classes that were styled for that very cause got the boot and weren't needed. Each class should have their own unique quality and that is something Mythic has had a slight oversight on. What is the utility or definition for the Mercenary? What is it for the Sorcerer? For the Theurgist? For the Skald? For the Berserker? For the Rogues all across the boards?

I can go on and on about this, but I don't have the time nor am I in the mood to rant on this subject. However, what I would like to hear from you is, what would any class worth a darn? What could be given to a particular class to make them amiably useful to anyone?

So, tell me on the discussion boards! Send Emails to me! I don't care, just tell me what you think would help any class in any realm to make them wanted or useful in in their uniqueness!
