Fighter

The basic man of arms from the legends. The Armsman can use any armor and almost all weapons from his realm. Armsmen generally have more hit points and do more base damage than Paladins. Fighters become Armsmen by joining the Defenders of Albion.

A fighter who specializes in fast attacks and weapon styles. The Mercenary gets evade and dual-wielding skills in addition to parry, but is limited to chain armor. He can also use short bows. Fighters become Mercenaries by joining the Guild of Shadows.

A holy warrior devoted to the Church. Paladins specialize in group-based combat, and have spells that aid their teammates in battle. He is a good armed fighter, but without his chants he is not quite as effective in melee combat as the Armsman. Fighters become Paladins by joining the Church of Albion.

The Reaver, one of the two Shrouded Isles expansion classes for Albion, has been described as kind of the opposite of the Paladin. While the Paladin controls beneficial chants that help his allies, the Reaver controls chant-type spells that affect his enemies in a negative way. Fighters become Reavers by joining the Temple of Arawn.

Mage

Elementalist

Theurgists are specialist mages who learn the element of earth, and its use in summoning rock and earth elementals to help them in combat. Elementalists become Theurgists by joining the Defenders of Albion.

Acolyte

A religous zealot who joins the Defenders of Albion and fights alongside his arms-bearing Realmmates. Friars get healing prayers as well as quarterstaff combat styles and powerful self-enhancing spells. However, friars who concentrate on battling will be weaker in healing than their Cleric counterparts.

Rogue

A specialist in Longbow archery but may also specialize in slashing or piercing weapons and shield. A Rogue becomes a Scout by joining the Defenders of Albion.

A Roguish class that specializes in stealthy movement, and hiding as well as backstab-type attacks. The Infiltrator is very good at spying on enemy Realms. Rogues become Infiltrators by joining the Guild of Shadows.

Although not a spellcaster in the strict sense, the Minstrel has songs that perform many of the same effects. He can also use weapons, small shields, and eventually, gains the ability to wear chain armor. Rogues become Minstrels by joining the Academy.

Disciple

The Necromancer, a shadowy summoner of fallen comrades, is the only class for Disciple characters. The Necromancer is invulnerable as long as his pet is standing, and most of the necromancer spells are cast through his pet. Disciples become Necromancers by joining the Temple of Arawn.
