Those that are denied entrance to the Academy - or those that simply don't wish to abide by their rules - often seek out the Guild of Shadows instead, learning to harness the powers of destruction and creation to bring golems to do their bidding. Should that not be enough, the Cabalist also has an assortment of weakening attacks, as well as spells that directly assault the enemy, making them a force in their own right. With the aid of their Golem companions, a Cabalist is never truly alone unless they wish to be. Though physically weak, their creations blindly obey every command, and will defend them to their own destruction, especially with the aid of the damage and weakening abilities of their masters. When assaulting the enemy with companions, the Golem is usually cast aside in favor of their debilitating spells, each one making the enemy weaker, clumsier, and less skilled. If more of a punch is needed, the Cabalist can also switch to more direct attacks. |
