Enchanter

With their summoned allies and broad line of pet-only enchantments, the Enchanter is by far the primary pet class of the realm. Functioning much like the Cabalist, the Enchanter workd best through his bet, augmenting his strength and keeping him alive while still using his more limited damaging capabilities to deal damage directly. Using his summoned companion as a shield, the Enchanter can simulate having a small group even while alone. The extra damage his ally does is almost secondary to the fact that it is absorbing damage meant for the Enchanter. With the damage being blocked, the Enchanter is then free to cast his own damaging spells freely, llowing him to battle alone at a much lower risk then the pure direct damage casters. Even without using his summoned pet, the Enchanter is capable of speeding up an entire group with a movement increase, as well as using a number of very useful debuffs and being able to use damage spells. While not as damaging as the other casters of Hibernia, often times the addition of his pet will be used to make up for it, even if it isn't abdorbing damage it is dealing some, and another barrier between the casters and the enemy is always a good thing. |
