With no magical ability to speak of, the Warriors of Tyr rely on their strength of arms to see them through battle. Because of this reliance, they can become proficiant in nearly all weapons of the realm, including the less used thrown weapons, giving them a slight ranged attack for situations where they don't want to get close.
Going toe to toe with an equal enemy is no rare feat for a Warrior - their defensive abilities are unmatched by the other fighting classes of Midgard. This along with the Midgardian ability to easily use both one-handed and two-handed weapons makes them the most versatile pure warrior class.
Those defensive abilities really shine in a group, as a Warrior well-trained in sheild use can become a marvelous protector of any weaker class, as well as still being able to dish out a very respectable amount of damage. The amount of training they receive allows them to remain fully trained in their weapon of choice and shield, ensuring they always deal out a respectable amount of damage as well.
